Asia Leading Resorts in Vietnam

12 Vietnam resorts were honoured to receive the World Travel Awards 2023 in the Asia-Pacific region, some resorts receiving two to three awards at the same time. This prestigious ward is organized annually by the World Travel Awards.

Dozens of resorts in Vietnam were honoured as «Leading in Asia» in various categories, of which Phu Quoc Island has 5 representatives, by The World Travel Awards (WTA) 2023 Asia-Pacific Region.

The first representative of the Pearl Island mentioned is La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc - MGallery. The resort located on Tran Hung Dao street of Duong Dong town won the «Asia's Leading Boutique Resort 2023» award and was honored in this category for the second time (the first year was 2021). The concept of boutique resort/hotel usually refers to accommodations with a small number of rooms, from 10 to less than 100 rooms, and with their own unique design style. WTA is the world's leading award, considered the «Oscar of the Tourism Industry» that held annually since 1993. The event aims to honor, reward and recognize excellence in the field of tourism.

InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort, south of Long Beach on Phu Quoc Island, received the award «Asia's Leading Luxury Family Resort 2023». This is the 5th consecutive year since 2019 this resort has received the prestigious award from WTA. Room price from VND 5.2 million per room night.

Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort, the next representative from Phu Quoc, received the «Asia's Leading Villa Resort 2023» award, winning for the 5th consecutive time in this category. Room price from VND 5.8 million per room night.

JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa in Phu Quoc won the double award for «Asia's Leading Luxury Resort & Spa 2023» and «Asia's Leading Luxury Wedding Resort 2023» for two consecutive years. Room prices start from more than VND 7.2 million per room night.

Banyan Tree Lang Co, located on the pristine semicircular bay of more than 3 km long in Lang Co, was honoured in the category «Asia's Leading Luxury Beach Resort 2023». This is the third consecutive year the resort with 86 beach villas has received this award. Room price from VND 7.7 million per room night.

Hoi An Memories Resort and Spa, representative of Quang Nam province, won the «Asia's Leading Entertainment Resort 2023» award and won this award for the second consecutive year. The resort is located at Con Hen, Cam Nam ward, Hoi An city. Rooms have river views. Room price from VND 1.8 million per room night.

InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Da Nang, was awarded three awards: «Asia's Leading Luxury Hotel Villa 2023», «Asia's Leading Luxury Resort 2023» and «Asia's Leading Green Resort 2023». This is the third consecutive year the resort located on Son Tra peninsula has won all three of the above awards from WTA. Room price from VND 9.4 million per room night.

Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills, another representative from Da Nang, was honored in the category «Asia's Leading Themed Resort 2023». This year is the fourth consecutive year the facility has been awarded this award by the WTA. Room price from VND 2.9 million per room night.

Ana Mandara Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa was honored in the category «Asia's Leading New Resort 2023». This is the first year the property has won an award from the WTA. Room price from VND 2.6 million per room night.

Six Senses Ninh Van Bay located in Ninh Van Bay, Khanh Hoa received two awards «Asia's Leading Honeymoon Resort 2023» and «Asia's Most Romantic Resort 2023». Room price from VND 15 million per room night.

Premier Village Ha Long Bay Resort, a representative from Quang Ninh, was honored in the category «Asia's Leading Family Villa Resort 2023» for two consecutive years. Room price from VND 1.8 million per room night.

WTA 2023 awards nearly 150 awards in Asia, of which Vietnam wins more than 50 awards. The Van Don International Airport has been honoured as «Asia's Leading Regional Airport 2023»
